Job Summary
Assist family members or friends with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and meal prep. Provide companionship and emotional support while handling light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying up. Remind clients of medication schedules and accompany them to appointments and errands, strictly following a care plan coordinated by a CHC service coordinator. No certification or prior experience is needed, as full training is provided. This role offers flexible part-time or full-time hours with bi-weekly direct deposit, paid training, and mileage reimbursement for those enrolled in Pennsylvania's CHC Waiver Program through AmeriHealth Caritas, PA Health & Wellness, or UPMC Community HealthChoices.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Pass required background checks (criminal, child abuse clearance)
- Care recipient must be currently enrolled in CHC Waiver or looking to get services
