Job Summary
Assist family members with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and meal prep while providing companionship and emotional support. Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying up, and accompany clients to appointments and errands. Remind recipients to take medications without dispensing them, following a care plan coordinated by a CHC service coordinator. This role supports loved ones enrolled in Pennsylvania's CHC Waiver Program through AmeriHealth Caritas, PA Health & Wellness, or UPMC Community HealthChoices. Full training is provided with no prior certification required.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Pass required background checks (criminal, child abuse clearance)
- Care recipient must be currently enrolled in CHC Waiver or looking to get services
