Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility transfers. Provide companionship and emotional support while preparing meals and performing light housekeeping duties. Document care tasks and ensure clients maintain a safe, clean environment. Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed. Available for day, evening, and overnight shifts with on-call opportunities. Full-time and part-time positions offered. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and speak English well. Current CPR and First Aid certification required; CNA experience preferred. Background check and references required for interview consideration.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 yrs of caregiving experience in performing personal care
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Current TB skin test or clear X-ray
- Fingerprint Clearance (Live Scan)
- Three professional and three personal references
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Good driving record
- Must be able to speak English well
- Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with California state regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Caregiving and/or CNA experience
- Current CNA certification
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school or equivalent education
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
