Job Summary
Assist seniors with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation. Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation while providing companionship, emotional support, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe living environment. Observe and report changes in clients' conditions, communicating effectively with clients, families, and office staff to promote each client's comfort, dignity, and independence. Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours, available in full-time, part-time, per diem, and overnight rotations across Barnstable, Chatham, Cataumet, Yarmouth, Marion, Milton, Hingham, and Plymouth, MA. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and be authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience
- Experience supporting clients with Alzheimer's or dementia
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs, mobility, and transfers
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance
- Willingness to transport clients when needed
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for overnight shifts
- Must be available for days shifts
- Must be available for morning shifts
- Must be available for evening shifts
- Must be available for 4-hour shifts
