Job Summary
In-Home Care Specialist provides care to clients on an as-needed basis when regular caregivers are unavailable, performing personal cares (toileting, bathing, grooming, incontinent care), transferring clients, assisting with household chores and meal preparation, and completing care documentation. The role involves driving between client homes in Dane County (travel time and mileage reimbursement), with a set part-time schedule up to 30 hours per week and every-other weekend off. Benefits include mileage reimbursement, 401(k), and pet insurance. Requires EVV-compliant smartphone, valid US work authorization, ability to lift 35 pounds, and at least 1 year of in-home care experience. Schedules are based on client needs and may vary. Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- Own a Smart Phone for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
- Valid driver's license
- reliable transportation and current auto insurance to serve clients throughout Dane County
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Work around environmental hazards (odors, second-hand smoke, animals, cleaning supplies)
- Available to work every-other-weekend and holidays
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Capable of lifting/moving/pushing/pulling 35 pounds
- 1 Year of experience delivering personal cares
- In-home experience, preferred
