Job Summary
In-Home Behavior Therapist (BT) Trainee providing 1:1 therapy to children on the autism spectrum under BCBA supervision. Complete a 40-hour training and pass an initial competency assessment to qualify for the certified rate. Deliver play-based, individualized behavior intervention plans, help develop communication, social, and daily living skills, and manage challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement. Accurately collect client progress data on a tablet during sessions. Role requires physical activity (play on the floor, run, crouch, lift up to 35 lbs), reliable transportation for in-home visits, and a background check. Education is a High School Diploma or equivalent with psychology/education/child development coursework being a plus; prior ABA experience is not required. Location: Statesboro, Georgia (USA).
