Job Summary
Provide 1:1 therapy to children on the autism spectrum in a home-based setting, delivering individualized behavior intervention plans through a play-based environment. Complete a 40-hour training, pass an initial competency assessment, and work under the supervision of a BCBA. Responsibilities include data collection on a tablet, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills, managing challenging behaviors with positive reinforcement, and contributing to clinical collaboration. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to physically assist active children, a background check, and reliable transportation if traveling to in-home sessions. Starting pay is $21/hour with a certification-based increase to $24/hour upon passing the RBT board exam.
Required Qualifications
