Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one support with children and adolescents (ages 10 to 21) with autism in their homes and the community, focusing on community independence, daily living, and recreation/leisure. Work under the supervision of experienced Case Managers while gaining experience using Applied Behavior Analysis principles. Provide flexible coverage in afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts across Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard, and Talbot counties. This entry-level role offers a foundation for a career in special education and related fields.
Required Qualifications
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 18
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- The ability to pass a background check
- Minimum 100 hours of working/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Auto Insurance
- Ability to push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly
- Ability to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run
