Job Summary
Maintain the home in an optimum state of cleanliness and safety while providing light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and shopping. Deliver hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and eating, plus support with self-administration of medications and delegated vital sign monitoring. Report any incidents, client behavior changes, or plan of care deviations immediately to the Service Supervisor. Requires 5+ years of home care experience, a valid NC Driver's License, and full availability for long 12-15 hour weekend shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and some Fridays.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience working in a home care setting
- Must have valid NC Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Personal means of transportation
- Must have full availibilty for long 12-15 hour weekend shifts (BOTH Saturdays & Sundays and some Fridays)
- Must be very dependable
- Must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care
