Job Summary
Conduct in-home family therapy for teens with at-risk behaviors, including substance use, family conflict, or school problems, while delivering assessment, treatment interventions, and crisis support. Perform home and community-based care, document client progress, and collaborate with families and stakeholders to develop discharge plans and strengthen support systems. Facilitate drug testing when appropriate and participate in MST training, supervision, and consultation activities. Maintain fidelity to the Multi-Systemic Therapy model and work within a small caseload structure to promote long-term behavioral change and family relationship improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in mental health related field
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with people with mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders
- Demonstrated training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment, assessment, evaluation and provision of individual, group and family therapy
- Relevant experience to program model to which individual is assigned
- Associate license as an LMSW, LMFTA, LPCA per the State of CT rules, LCSW, LMFT, LPC
