In-Community Supports - Mental Health Specialist II

Provide hands-on and verbal assistance, mentoring, and guidance to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses in an in-community supports setting. Deliver care and supervision to promote comfort, safety, and personal growth; assist with daily activities (personal care, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, laundry); implement and follow behavioral guidance plans; document progress and milestones; build relationships with persons served and teammates; transport to appointments or activities; work on tailored outcomes; require strong communication, reading, and documentation skills; 18+ to work in residential programs (21+ for child foster care) with a valid driver’s license and insurance; 40-hour work-week possibilities with weekend/holiday availability; benefits include health/dental/vision, flexible spending, PTO, and professional development.
