Job Summary
Manage component and new part development, including casting, machining, and forging parts, while overseeing vendor development, cost negotiation, and strategic sourcing. Lead project management activities for mechanical components and sub-assemblies, ensuring achievement of quality, cost, and delivery targets through zero-based costing and RFQ processes. Coordinate with central purchasing, manufacturing, and quality departments for preventive quality planning and material ratio planning. Represent the team in new product development projects and handle requirement-based domestic and international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering / Bachelor's Degree – Mechanical Engineering
- Practical commercial and project management experience
- Analytical and structural approach
- Work well independently, highly motivated, results oriented
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
- Strong organizational skills and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time, including following up on his/her actions
- SAP, MS Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Team experience required
- Minimum 4 - 8 years' experience with purchasing parts is preferred

- Preferably have a professional experience in Project Purchasing / Program management with sound knowledge on Casting, Machining & forging Components and Sub-assemblies development & vendor development activities
