Job Summary
Engineer / Executive Logistics role in Sanand, Gujarat focusing on material planning, PPC, procurement, and production scheduling for Bosch Rexroth's servo drive and FA modules; responsibilities include preparing monthly production plans, inventory control across raw materials, WIP and FG, master data maintenance for MRP, KPI tracking, demand forecasting, leading global sourcing for raw materials, vendor coordination, SAP MM/PP, QA/QC, inbound/outbound logistics, subcontracted material reconciliation, and coordination with suppliers and LOM for timely deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- B.E. Mechanical with 2-3 years of experience
- MS Office knowledge (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
- SAP knowledge would be desirable (MM/PP module)
- Strong communication, agility and adaptability skills
- Knowledge of Material Planning, production planning & control (PPC) and Procurement Function
- Forecasting and Demand Planning as per Sales Input and execution in alignment with Customer delivery
- Able to Lead global sourcing initiatives for key raw materials, ensuring cost-effective procurement and maintaining high-quality standards to support production needs
- Knowledge of Supplier based creation and coordinating with purchase team and global mentor Including SA, info record and EDI/ASN set up., TLV agreement Communication platform steps up, CTG and CTX for Import -Export approval process, Custom clearance
- Basic knowledge of problem-solving tools and methods to ensure timely close logistic issue
- Knowledge of Transport and forwarder set up including custom clearance and compliance
- Quality Control Ensuring that the purchased products /parts meet Quality standards and specification
- Responsible for Vendor Order and Delivery management: Review and steer target fulfillment with suppliers
- Vendor delivery performance: Review, Assessment of risk and collaboration with all stakeholders
- New products /projects launch: Establish necessary contracts, Supply chain cost build up and realization, manage SOP and series deliveries.
- Responsible for leading and Driving Levelling, Production Planning and Coordinate Internal Delivery Fulfillment
- Responsible for reconciliation of subcontracted materials with suppliers.
- Coordinate with LOM and Suppliers for timely collection / delivery of child parts to the production site.
- Coordination for: Supply shortfall, Quality Rejections with closing looping
- Coordinate with Purchase Quality for inward inspection, Inbound Logistics for goods receipt and booking as well as loading tracking with production
- Timely escalations During critical /bottleneck situations and delivery failures from suppliers
