Job Summary

Engage in Merger and Acquisition Tax work for clients, including conducting industry research to identify target companies, preparing pitch decks, coordinating and conducting due diligence, preparing due diligence reports, implementing schemes and petition filings for clients, assisting in valuation analyses and financial forecasting related to M&A transactions, advising on tax-efficient restructurings, ensuring quality and timeliness of client deliverables, developing client relationships, and gaining a strong understanding of integration activities, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies related to people, process, and technology. Requires Chartered Accountant with 0-3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent), knowledge of M&A laws (Income Tax Act, Companies Act, FEMA), and strong communication skills; travel and visa sponsorship details are as per posting.

Required Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience in Direct Tax or M&A tax
  • Knowledge of M&A laws including Income Tax Act, Companies Act, FEMA and related issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Campus/articleship in Big 4 or prior experience in M&A tax is an added advantage
