Job Summary
Part of PwC's Management Consulting – Financial Services practice in Hyderabad, focusing on growth strategy, new business set-up, cost optimization, sales productivity, and market entry across Banking, NBFC and Asset Management. Primarily responsible for growing the Financial Services practice through extensive business development activities along with leading delivery on advisory engagements. Responsibilities include developing financial services clients, generating consulting opportunities, creating winning proposals, converting opportunities into engagements, and managing engagement delivery while achieving high client satisfaction. Required skills include strong BD and client relationship abilities, multi-tasking, effective team management, and the ability to engage with C-Suite executives; solid understanding of the consulting engagement lifecycle. Education required: MBA Finance; 1+ years of relevant experience in consulting. This role involves growth-focused advisory work and collaboration with clients to identify opportunities for growth and improved operations.
Required Qualifications
- MBA Finance (Master of Business Administration in Finance)
- 1+ years of experience in Financial Services consulting or management consulting
- Strong business development and relationship skills to engage effectively with clients
- Ability to multi-task and manage parallel pursuits and BD activities
- Effective team management
- Keen understanding of issues facing the financial services industry (Banking, NBFC, Payments, Asset Management)
- Strong presence in meetings with ability to engage with C-Suite
- In-depth understanding of the consulting engagement lifecycle
- Develop a set of financial services clients across Banking, NBFC, Payments and Asset Management space
- Generate consulting opportunities and create winning proposals
- Convert opportunities into engagements through commercial acumen and persuasive abilities
- Manage engagement delivery with high client satisfaction and identify follow-on opportunities
- Experience in delivering growth strategies, market entry, cost optimization, and sales productivity initiatives
