Job Summary
Review impound notices from clients and coordinate repossession activities with agents and lenders. Manage the repossession process by assessing charges against state and local laws, while maintaining customer service and updating designated accounts. Proactively monitor accounts to address issues and maintain effective communication with clients, agents, impound lots, and internal departments. Service inbound calls per guidelines and properly document all account activity in the system of record. This 100% computer-based role supports SCM's full-service recovery operation, connecting lenders to facilitate compliant asset recoveries.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of Impound related experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
- Must have professional phone skills and demeanor
- Punctual with good attendance
Desired Qualifications
- High level of experience using G-Suite, MS Office and related applications
- Strong communication and phone skills to give clear and concise direction
- Experience interacting with business clients via phone and email
- Strong negotiation skills
