Job Summary
Coordinate international import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, and HTS classifications. Review shipping documentation, track shipments, and proactively resolve transportation or customs issues while maintaining accurate records within the ERP system. Support procurement activities by creating purchase orders, expediting orders, and managing supplier communications, serving as a backup for the Procurement team during absences or high workload periods. Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs through proactive problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the US without assistance from employer
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0–2 years of experience in import/export, procurement, or supply chain operations; internships, co-ops, or relevant coursework are welcomed
- Basic knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and import/export documentation, with a strong willingness to learn
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to use a computer and ERP system
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Fluent in both Korean and English (spoken and written)
- Prior internship, co-op, or coursework in supply chain, logistics, or international trade
