Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles for customers at Murray Motor Company’s Import Automotive Technician role. Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment; present best solutions to repair vehicles properly; perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles; complete repairs and test drives promptly; assist other employees as needed. Responsibilities include oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, and repairs across engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. Ensure all work meets proper specifications and safety procedures while delivering customer service as dictated by workload.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- PA State inspections license is a MUST
- emissions is a plus
- Automotive and engine repair experience
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Able to bend, climb, reach, kneel, etc. for extended periods
- Prepared to get an additional certification as needed
- Valid driver’s license
- Own basic mechanics tools
- Reliable and self-motivated
