Job Summary
Implementations Technician responsible for staging, installation, and support of surveillance systems and related hardware/software in a 9am-6pm on-site schedule. You will install and configure cameras, servers, recorders, network devices, and related tech; monitor task boards and tickets; provide immediate or escalated support; remotely assist fellow technicians; deliver excellent customer service, troubleshoot with minimal help, maintain accurate system documentation, and mentor less-experienced staff. The role requires a strong background in video surveillance tech (CCTV, IP cameras, NVR/DVR), networking/IT support, and the ability to work on-site in Portland, OR, with responsibility for quality standards and safety of company/customer property. Familiarity with RemoteView, Cook Command Center, and related remote-support tools is expected, along with a proactive approach to task management and collaboration with project managers and technicians.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with advanced video surveillance technologies including CCTV, IP cameras, DVR/NVR
- Background in networking, system administration, or IT support
- Degree or certification in Information Technology, Electronics, or related field preferred or 2+ years hands-on surveillance systems experience
