Job Summary

Design, develop, and deliver formal and informal training for overseas financial operations, including updating training aides, syllabuses, and databases for software implemented at posts. Collaborate with trainers to incorporate changes in current and future releases while independently editing documentation based on periodic software updates. Provide Tier I helpdesk support as the primary point of contact during system conversions, logging issues and tracking resolutions before handing off to the Customer Support Help Desk. Assist in setting up training databases, staging exercises, and configuring webinar sessions for audio, video, and screen sharing capabilities. Attend User Acceptance Reviews and serve on working groups dealing with software changes to support CGFS ISO-9001 activities.

Required Qualifications

  • To be considered for this job, the candidate must be able to obtain a security Secret Clearance, or already possess one
  • To be hired, the candidate must reside in the state of South Carolina
  • This position supports a government contract and is subject to the government agency rules and management
  • All contractors supporting the Department of State must be able to either possess or obtain a security clearance of Secret
  • Employees shall remain in their current position for at least one year before applying for another job within the company or contract
  • This is a full-time job
  • Work hours are 40 hours per week between the hours of 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Flextime is available
  • Core working hours are 9:45 am - 2:45pm
  • Work schedule is based on the work requirements of our client's division, Global Financial Services
  • The contract has a non-compensated 30-, 45-, or 60-minute lunch Monday through Friday
  • Additional hours may be required and/or must be authorized by your Program Manager and DoS Management
  • Specialized, in-depth subject matter experience with Federal accounting and financial management policies, practices, reporting, and operations is desirable
  • Demonstrated capability analyzing complex financial systems requirements, troubleshoot, and issues

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with DoS financial systems used by Overseas posts, both internal and external systems
  • Knowledge of Federal accounting/financial management policies, practices, operations, and procedures
  • Experience with technical environments supporting DoS, such as DEVNET and training database management
  • Microsoft 365 Certified
  • Develop, communicate, and implement cost-effective solutions to the Department's requirements
  • Superior verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Flexibility and adaptability
