Implementation Team Lead

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end client onboarding projects for BusPlanner's K-12 transportation software, building and managing detailed project timelines to ensure a smooth implementation journey. Deliver clear, proactive, and client-friendly communication at every stage, coordinating across Technical Solutions, GIS, and Development teams to align deliverables, dependencies, and milestones. Mentor and coach Implementation Consultants through regular check-ins and reviews, serve as the escalation point for complex client issues, and monitor project health to identify risks and resource conflicts before they become problems. This role emphasizes ownership of outcomes, structured planning of messy information, and a strong focus on client experience and data migrations.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software implementations, client onboarding, or similar project management roles
- Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, or leading peers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working with data in Excel
- Ability to context-switch between your own client delivery and supporting the team
