Implementation Specialist - Preroll

Job Summary
Provide subject matter expert guidance on pre-roll manufacturing processes, equipment, and techniques to optimize production across sites. Address technical issues, equipment malfunctions, and unexpected challenges while continuously assessing operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Create and deliver training on Standard Operating Procedures, safety protocols, and best practices to production teams. Develop and maintain corporate SOPs, work aids, and documentation to support site readiness and new product launches. Travel up to 50% of the time to support low-performing sites, conduct root cause analysis, and implement process enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must possess valid state ID
- Must be able to obtain, and maintain, state badging requirements to work in the cannabis industry (requires background check and state review)
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed
- Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 75 pounds (200 pounds with assistance)

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's in Science, Engineering, or related STEM discipline such as food science, chemistry, biology, chemical and mechanical engineering, etc. preferred
- Candidates currently located within the North Eastern part of the USA are preferred
- Experience with pre-roll product development, have acquired Pre-roll development expertise, knowledge and experience with all pre-roll offerings
- Experience in innovating and commercializing pre-roll products within the cannabis or hemp spaces
- Experienced in pre-roll production (milling, infusing, filling, closing, Painting, & packaging), and knowledgeable of cannabis/pre-roll market trends
- Experience with both manufacturing and lab equipment and processes in pre-roll development
- Knowledge of laboratory and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) best practices
- Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for dealing with hazardous chemicals
- Ability to understand and adhere to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures
