Job Summary
Coordinate delivery milestones, manage vendor relationships, and facilitate requirements workshops to map current and future state processes for a new enterprise system. Write SQL and Python scripts for data extraction, profiling, transformation, and reconciliation, while building automated validation checks and executing test plans across integration, regression, and UAT. Lead cutover, go-live, and hypercare support to ensure successful migration and system stability. This 12-month independent contractor role involves 35 hours weekly with two on-site days in Vaughan, Ontario, and includes up to three unpaid weeks off.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on SQL
- Working Python
- Power BI and Tableau do not substitute for scripting
- Data migration with named source and target systems: profiling, mapping, transformation rules, reconciliation
- Requirements gathering and workshop facilitation
- Implementation coordination: vendor management, releases, cutover, go-live, hypercare
- Independent Contractor (Incorporated)
- Hybrid, 2 days on site in Vaughan, Ontario
