Job Summary
Build and strengthen relationships with clients, including CFOs and Controllers, by planning onboarding, roll-out processes, and evaluating product enhancements. Analyze private equity client needs to prioritize the product roadmap and work with product managers and engineers to implement complex fund and investment structures. Translate private equity experience into business logic for software development while collaborating on product design, functionality testing, and enhancement discovery.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of five years of experience in accounting for private equity funds
- hands-on experience at a private equity firm
- undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
- CPA accreditation
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- knowledgeable in fund accounting systems (Yardi, Investran, etc.)
- experience with investment structures and financial statements
- heightened attention to detail that can be applied to the translation of a variety of private fund structures and calculations into a flexible software solution
