Job Summary
Implementation Engineer at a remotely distributed company: lead end-to-end technical onboarding for a high volume of accounts, configure IdP integrations, Tailnet administration, ACL policy definitions, and MDM deployments, and collaborate with AEs/SEs to translate pre-sales requirements into active usage. You’ll drive onboarding metrics, identify friction points for Product/Engineering, maintain data hygiene in SFDC and CSP tooling, and facilitate clean handoffs to Support/Post-sales. Requires 2–4+ years in a technical, customer-facing role with strong networking fundamentals (OSI, DNS, routing, VPN), experience installing software across Linux/Windows/macOS/iOS/Android, and the ability to read/modify JSON or YAML configs for ACLs and Kubernetes deployments. Roles are remote-first with possible in-office collaboration depending on team needs; compensation includes base salary, equity, and benefits with a US Pay Range of $107,000–$127,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Technical Support, Implementation, or Solutions Engineering
- Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts including the OSI model, DNS, routing, and VPN operations
- Proficiency in installing software across diverse operating systems, including Linux, Windows, macOS, and iOS/Android
- Strong skills in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to networking
- Ability to read and modify JSON or YAML configs for ACL and Kubernetes deployments
