Job Summary
Implementation Engineer acts as a bridge between BU, clients, and Core Engineering to ensure technical deliverables meet user needs and are translated into scalable AI-driven workflows. Embedded in the Google AI ecosystem, the role rapidly prototypes, tests, and validates AI-driven workflows, collaborates with Core Engineering to productionize and scale solutions, and helps teams refine prompts and system instructions while evolving new agents and features. Responsibilities include client and BU advocacy, workflow optimization, agent/Agentic development within existing Google frameworks, feature translation, technical documentation, enablement and training, and effective cross-team communication. Required skills include strong understanding of AI systems in the Google AI ecosystem (Vertex AI, Gemini), prompt engineering, grounding, system instruction tuning, API integrations, data workflows, cloud architectures (Google Cloud), prototyping with Python or Apps Script or no/low-code platforms, and excellent stakeholder management. Preferred: experience with applied AI, creative technology, prior Google client experience, LLM orchestration frameworks. This role operates under a Return to Office policy with expected in-office days for commutable office locations; hybrid work is indicated by internal tags (#LI-Hybrid). Salary range: $110,000—$140,000 USD.
