Job Summary
Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple concurrent client projects for learning management system integrations, authentications, and training across K12, corporate, and higher education verticals. Lead empowered, matrixed teams to determine client requirements, assess technical readiness, and design custom technical solutions while managing project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. Maintain familiarity with D2L Web Services APIs to facilitate client learning solutions and leverage AI project management tools to enhance scheduling accuracy and streamline documentation. Prepare status reports for management and clients, conduct regular team reviews, and drive post-project lessons learned to ensure deliverables align with scope and budget.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a project management and/or implementation consulting capacity
- Professional services/customer service project management and/or implementation consulting experience
- Strong knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of project management
- Familiarity with end-to-end project lifecycle including business case definition, requirements & architecture through development & implementation
- Confident and knowledgeable in Information Technology, including systems development lifecycle, business modelling, systems integration/implementation methodologies
- Ability to multitask many concurrent projects
- Strong organizational written and oral communication skills
- Works proactively and independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor or Diploma in Computer Science, Applied Science, Engineering or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management certification; PMP or CAPM (or equivalent experience) considered an asset
- Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and deliver data-backed project insights
