Job Summary
Analyze and document customer business requirements, configure OPS software, and develop training materials for transit agencies. Support testing activities, log issues, and deliver training to end users while ensuring solution delivery meets operational expectations. Interpret union contracts and business rules through software configurations, resolving problems using analytical and strategic thinking under minimal supervision. Work directly with clients and project teams to establish credibility, communicate status to stakeholders, and improve transit operations efficiently. Support the continuous improvement of implementation templates and project artifacts critical to the OPS team.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of direct customer facing experience in a technical software support role
- Ability to travel up to 75% within North America
- Experience working with MS SQL and Oracle databases as well as writing queries to extract data
- Superior Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Excellent consulting and business analysis skills
- Strong Software configuration skills with an ability to work with system logging to identify problems
- Prior experience implementing/testing configurable software solutions
- Superior command of written English with a demonstrated ability to produce quality documentation
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Understanding of all Windows Platforms including Windows 7, Windows 10
- Experience with web based service architecture
- Previous experience/knowledge of the transit industry
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma relevant to the information technology industry is preferred
