Job Summary
As an Implant Equipment Technician at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, you will maintain high-end Semiconductor Production Equipment, focusing on quality, efficiency, defect reduction, and cost of ownership. Responsibilities include practicing safety procedures, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, and utilizing various technical systems and tools. Candidates should have a high school diploma with 2+ years of industrial manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma is required
- 2+ years industrial manufacturing or similar experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong analytical skills to find impactful solutions to complex problems
- Understanding of Lean Principles
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree or military technical experience preferred
- Prior Semiconductor experience with knowledge of 300mm AMAT VIISta, Axcelis Paradigm, Nissin Exceed, AMAT Centura, AMAT Vantage, Mattson Millios, and Veeco LSA platforms preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
