Job Summary
Coordinate surgical inventory distribution and manage stock levels across Wilmington and Christiana ORs to ensure timely availability of non-stock and specialty items. Standardize products, develop par levels, and implement inventory reduction initiatives while assisting with vendor meetings and annual budget preparations. Perform statistical analyses on stock usage and cost implications, audit service delivery data, and manage product recalls in compliance with FDA and JCAHO standards. Maintain handheld inventory systems, process requisitions, and resolve supply shortages by researching causes and communicating with clinical staff. Travel between locations to support clerks and patient care coordinators during new product trials.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Associate's Degree preferred
- Two years of experience in Material Distribution
- Two years' experience in Perioperative Logistics
- Individuals must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Demonstrates compliance with Christiana Care Health Services and departmental policies and procedures and mandatory education requirements including but not limited to safety, infection control, attendance, and dress code
Desired Qualifications
