Job Summary
Conduct quantitative and qualitative impairment tests to determine asset impairment status, calculate impairment provisions, and prepare accurate financial statement disclosures. Identify potential impairment triggers by analyzing financial and non-financial information, then manage the performance and regular reassessment of impaired assets. Lead a team responsible for Governance and Control aspects of the Impairment FTC, guiding professional development and coordinating resources to deliver transparent, detailed approaches to risk mitigation. Partner with related functions to influence decision-making and embed new policies, ensuring end-to-end ownership of operational processing while adhering to regulatory codes and Barclays values.
Required Qualifications
- University degree (B.Tech/ MBA /CA or equivalent)
- Prior working experience in Credit Risk domain
- Basic knowledge of IFRS9
- Basic understanding of stress testing
- Basic understanding of Impairments
- Proficient in Microsoft excel
- Working knowledge of SAS and/or Python
- Clear and concise communication to present results of analyses up to level of Director/ MD in the organization
- Basic understanding of PD, LGD, EAD models
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
- Basic understanding of expected credit loss (impairments) calculation
- This role will be based out of Noida
Desired Qualifications
- Coding skills preferred
- Knowledge of Structure Query Language (SQL)
- Knowledge of Tableau
