Job Summary
Lead Oregon’s statewide impaired-driving program efforts as the Impaired Driving Program Manager, acting as the subject-matter expert on impaired-driving laws, countermeasures, trends, and program strategies. Oversee federal and state grants, coordinate with law enforcement, courts, treatment providers, and policy partners, guide policy development and rulemaking, design and deliver communications and training, and conduct program evaluation to drive data-driven improvements in impaired-driving prevention and enforcement. Role involves occasional statewide and out-of-state travel; hybrid work options are available after training, with in-office time required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social sciences, or a degree related to the agency program
- four years experience coordinating or administering a program related to impaired driving
- Any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience that supports the knowledge and skill requirements for the classification
- Driving is an essential function of this position; valid US driver license and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to analyze detailed technical information (data, reports, grant materials, or operational guidance) and convert it into practical recommendations
