Job Summary

Coordinate volunteers and deliver programs that make a meaningful difference for patients and families at Queensland Children's Hospital. Support day-to-day program delivery, administration, and volunteer operations while ensuring continuity of service across the week. Assist with family-focused activities, celebrations, and memory-making opportunities to create a consistent, high-quality experience. Work closely with the Volunteer Engagement Manager and Impact Programs team to maintain agreed processes. This part-time role operates Thursday and Friday on a 12-month fixed-term contract at Queensland Children's Hospital.

Required Qualifications

  • A vocational qualification in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience delivering programs or services in a healthcare, community or family support environment
  • Experience coordinating volunteers and supporting day-to-day program delivery, administration and operations
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based platforms, with the ability to complete accurate data entry and administration tasks
  • Experience working within professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality requirements
  • Experience working directly with children and young people, ideally within a Child Safe Organisation Framework
  • Eligibility for a Blue Suitability Card, issued by the Department of Justice and Attorney-General
  • Australian citizenship or permanent resident status
