Job Summary
The Impact Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of City Year’s Whole School Whole Child service model across two schools, ensuring effective service delivery and building strong partnerships with school stakeholders. Key responsibilities include managing and developing a team of AmeriCorps members, analyzing service performance data, and creating measurable objectives to meet educational goals. Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, proven experience in educational settings, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities. The role emphasizes collaboration, strategic planning, and community engagement to boost student success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Urban Studies, Youth Work, or other related field preferred
- Proven relationships and experience working with/in Chicago Public Schools
- Previous experience leading individuals and teams to achieve goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational, project, and financial management capabilities
- Strong problem-solving, time, and project management skills
- Ability to execute a strategic plan and motivate staff
- Proficiency in computer skills (i.e. MS Office) and experience using databases
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in management, non-profits, community service, and/or youth work
- Experience working with principals, assistant principals, and teachers
- Coaching young people
- City Year/AmeriCorps/Peace Corps experience
- Strong connection to City Year mission
