Job Summary
Impact Director leads the City Year Sacramento Impact Department, managing the implementation of the Whole School Whole Child model across 2-3 partner schools, coaching 2-3 Team Leaders and 15-20 AmeriCorps members, and driving a site-wide Specialization. Responsible for ensuring service fidelity, strengthening school partnerships, and delivering a high-quality corps experience, while overseeing data collection/assessment, performance reviews, and cross-team collaboration across site priorities. Must work in person at the Sacramento office and spend time at assigned school campuses; requires strong leadership, collaboration, and equity-driven service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 5+ years professional experience
- 2+ years managing teams
- proven success in coaching and developing emerging leaders
- experience building and managing school or community partnerships
- strong organizational, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, adaptive, team-oriented environment
- commitment to equity, youth development, and public education
- authorized documentation to work in the United States of America
- criminal background history clearance to work with school-age children
