Job Summary
Collect, validate, and manage impact data from fund managers, portfolio companies, and TA partners while maintaining databases and reporting systems. Prepare portfolio-level analyses across key themes including employment, gender, climate, and governance, then develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate performance results. Translate quantitative data and qualitative evidence into compelling narratives for investors, donors, and partners by developing learning briefs, case studies, and knowledge products. Support ESG due diligence, gap analyses, and MEL activities across funds and programs, contributing to annual impact reports and external communications. Maintain knowledge repositories and assist fund managers in strengthening ESG and impact management practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Sustainability, Business, Social Sciences, International Development, or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in impact measurement and reporting, knowledge management, ESG assessment, research, consulting, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualization
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including managing and analyzing complex datasets
- Excellent writing skills with experience producing reports, case studies, research summaries, and other knowledge products
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Professional proficiency in English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in impact investing, private equity, venture capital, private debt, or development finance
- Experience working across emerging markets
- Knowledge of gender lens investing, climate finance, ESG integration, or inclusive business models
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and program management tools
