Job Summary
The Impact Analyst role at Urban Resource Institute focuses on assessing and enhancing programs through evaluation projects and data analysis. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, statistics, or a related field required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in research, program evaluation, or data analysis, ideally within a non-profit, social services, or mission-driven context
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with descriptive and multivariate analyses, longitudinal studies, or predictive modeling and qualitative analysis
- Deep commitment to URI’s mission, vision, and core values, with a passion for advancing meaningful social impact
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and data integrity
- Advanced organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams, build strong partnerships, and drive successful outcomes
- Deep commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and confidential handling of sensitive data, particularly when working with vulnerable populations
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred
- Familiarity with statistical software such as R, SPSS, or Stata
