Job Summary
Manage a staff of four immigration attorneys and legal assistants while representing clients in removal defense and affirmative filings. Conduct walk-in client intakes, prepare asylum and SIJS applications, and represent applicants at USCIS and asylum office interviews. Write motions, briefs, and BIA appellate briefs, ensuring legal work aligns with the agency's mission. Coordinate team meetings, assist with case management systems, and lead fundraising efforts including grant writing and gala planning. Contribute to community outreach by presenting know-your-rights sessions, developing informational materials, and representing the organization at coalition meetings and public forums.
Required Qualifications
- J.D.
- CA state bar license
- Strong research and writing skills
- Attention to detail
