Job Summary
Immigration Consultant role focusing on high-volume case production and routine client service in a legal-delivery environment. Primary responsibilities include serving as the main point of contact for routine client inquiries, initiating and filing high-volume immigration filings using established templates and a case-management system, conducting administrative tasks to ensure accurate case progression, maintaining complete case records with data integrity, and utilizing dashboards to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. The role requires drafting immigration forms and supporting letters for various case types (including employment-based NIV, IV, and PERM), coordinating with government agencies to track status and respond to RFEs, building foundational knowledge across immigration case types, staying updated on law/policy changes, participating in internal training, and contributing to process-improvement initiatives. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, learning agility, client-service orientation, and effective collaboration with attorneys and colleagues are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; OR 0–5 years of business immigration experience; OR a combination of education and experience demonstrating readiness for the role
- Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience is acceptable, as is relevant business immigration experience in lieu of a degree
- Equivalent mix of education and experience demonstrating needed skills, competencies, and abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate immigration forms and supporting letters
- Experience with case management systems and document handling tools
- Ability to manage high-volume workloads using reports and dashboards to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in drafting forms and supporting letters for employment-based NIV, IV, and PERM petitions
- Experience coordinating with government agencies (e.g., USCIS, DOL, DOS) and tracking case status
- Commitment to compliance and ability to update internal procedures following changes in immigration law/policy
- Demonstrated learning agility and professional communication skills
- Team collaboration and client-service orientation
- Process adherence and ability to follow established workflows and filing protocols
- Ability to maintain data integrity and handle sensitive information
