Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to understand patients' conditions and needs, ensuring each treatment plan aligns with their personal health goals. Manage a standard patient load of one individual per hour, utilizing therapeutic techniques and modalities to design customized programs addressing pain management, mobility restoration, and functional improvements. Document services meticulously in electronic medical records and monitor treatment effectiveness to adjust care plans as needed. Work closely with physicians and occupational therapists to coordinate comprehensive care while encouraging active patient engagement in rehabilitation. This role supports our mission of empowering patients to regain mobility through state-of-the-art sports medicine technology and individualized treatment plans.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- No disciplinary actions or board actions against the professional license.
- Strong manual therapy skills coupled with the ability to design effective exercise regimens tailored to individual needs.
- Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT, ensuring efficient documentation and patient management.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting that reflects a comprehensive understanding of physical therapy practices.
- Demonstrated ability to create patient-centered care plans and exercise programs.
