Job Summary
Receive the Bill of Lading from drivers and visually verify accuracy before entering purchase order numbers, pallet counts, dates, carriers, and product quantities into the computerized inventory system. Break down deliveries using packing slips or invoices to highlight quantity and title details, then verify products against these documents. Scan license plate labels (LPNs) to link items to warehouse locations, weigh and measure product dimensions, and attach identification stickers to pallets for operator tracking. Troubleshoot invoice or purchase order discrepancies by utilizing the iSeries system. Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment while following all safety rules, operating in a fast-paced setting with exposure to vibrations, dust, and moving machinery.
Required Qualifications
- Regular, reliable attendance
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience and/or training
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, in English
- Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees of the organization
- Ability to calculate basic math (subtraction, multiplication and addition)
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

- Ability to frequently carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally have repetitive foot movement
- Ability to frequently have repetitive hand/arm movements for simple reaching, simple and firm grasping and/or fine hand manipulation
- Ability to wear gloves occasionally
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
