Job Summary
Assess and treat patients with orthopedic conditions by formulating comprehensive care plans and implementing cost-effective therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility and minimize medication reliance. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour while designing personalized fitness programs that promote strength, flexibility, and balance. Collaborate with fellow physical therapists and a PTA to encourage active patient participation and monitor progress through continuous evaluation of treatment effectiveness. Document all services rendered to facilitate ongoing care and communication with healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Des Plaines, IL, without any disciplinary actions against the license
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Ability to develop customized exercise regimens for patients
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT
- Ability to document and manage patient information efficiently
