Job Summary
Assess patient goals and needs to develop individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy and exercise physiology. Manage a patient load averaging one patient per hour while documenting care activities for regulatory compliance. Promote non-surgical treatment options and educate patients on strength, flexibility, and balance to enhance functional mobility. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals to adjust treatment effectiveness based on progress. Work onsite in our outpatient office Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role supports a team of two physical therapists and a PTA serving athletes, active adults, and seniors undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California without any disciplinary actions against the license
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Experience in orthopedic outpatient care
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
