Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs and treatment goals, then create and implement personalized therapeutic plans utilizing manual therapy and exercise programs. Maintain an optimal patient load of one client per hour while documenting progress in the WebPT electronic medical records system. Provide patient education to support rehabilitation journeys and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including orthopedic surgeons and occupational therapists, to optimize care outcomes. Evaluate treatment effectiveness regularly and adapt care plans based on patient progress. This role focuses on orthopedic outpatient care for diverse clients with post-surgical and chronic pain conditions within a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot facility in Manassas, VA.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs.
- Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, and the capability to navigate them efficiently.
