Job Summary
Assess patient needs, set achievable goals, and develop personalized fitness and wellness plans tailored to individual orthopedic conditions. Provide cost-effective physical therapy services using manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain. Monitor and document patient progress in WebPT while adjusting care plans to optimize outcomes and engage patients in their rehabilitation journey. Work full-time onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM with a caseload of one patient per hour. The clinic serves a diverse population of athletes, active adults, and older individuals seeking to maintain independence in Norfolk, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Norfolk, VA
- No board actions or disciplinary issues
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Effective exercise regimen development
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT
