Job Summary
Assess patient needs, set achievable goals, and develop personalized fitness and wellness plans for orthopedic rehabilitation. Provide cost-effective physical therapy services using manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain. Monitor and document patient progress in WebPT, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Engage patients in their treatment plans and maintain clear communication with families and healthcare professionals. Work full-time onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM with a caseload of one patient per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Norfolk, VA
- No board actions or disciplinary issues
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Effective exercise regimen development
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT
- Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care
- Strong background in patient-centered care
- Successfully developed treatment plans that incorporate holistic approaches
