Job Summary
Assess patient needs and establish personalized treatment goals while maintaining a manageable caseload of one patient per hour. Utilize evidence-based interventions to develop comprehensive care plans, focusing on non-pharmacological pain management and customized fitness programs. Monitor progress by documenting sessions in the WebPT electronic medical record and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic recovery. Provide education on lifestyle modifications and encourage active patient participation throughout the treatment journey. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within our 5,000-square-foot orthopedic outpatient facility in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- No disciplinary actions have been recorded against your license
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Proficiency in developing effective therapeutic exercise routines
- Experience utilizing EMR software like WebPT for documentation and patient tracking
- Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques
- Patient engagement strategies
