Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient goals and abilities, then design and implement evidence-based orthopedic treatment plans that reduce pain and enhance mobility. Deliver cost-effective modalities to encourage functional improvements while minimizing medication reliance, maintaining a caseload of one patient per hour for focused sessions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to coordinate care, educate patients on health and wellness topics, and continuously monitor treatment effectiveness to optimize progress. Maintain clear documentation of all interactions and protocols. Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- No History of board actions or disciplinary actions against the license
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Ability to develop effective, tailored exercise regimens for patients
- Exceptional communication skills to engage patients effectively and explain treatment plans with clarity
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
- Familiarity with WebPT
- Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Experience with post-operative recovery
- Experience with sports rehabilitation
- Background in developing and implementing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Experience collaborating with other healthcare providers to facilitate comprehensive patient care
