Job Summary
Assess and fulfill unique patient goals through personalized care plans while maintaining a load of one individual per hour. Deliver high-quality orthopedic therapy by implementing cost-effective, non-invasive treatment options and utilizing innovative techniques tailored to specific needs. Design personalized fitness programs, provide evidence-based interventions, and monitor progress using comprehensive evaluation methods. Motivate patients toward independence by educating them on strength, flexibility, and balance. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create a holistic care network and maintain accurate documentation for continuity. This role supports athletes, post-surgical patients, and injury recovery individuals within a collaborative team environment at our 5,000-square-foot sports medicine facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Silver Spring, MD.
- No disciplinary actions or board actions against your professional license.
- Demonstrable manual therapy skills essential for effective treatment.
- Proficient in designing and implementing tailored exercise routines.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy.
- Experience with advanced treatment methodologies, including but not limited to, dry needling and sports rehabilitation.
