Job Summary
Evaluate patients upon arrival and develop tailored treatment plans aligned with rehabilitation goals. Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions to promote healing, maintaining a manageable load of one patient per hour. Implement comprehensive fitness and wellness programs focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination while motivating active patient participation. Document treatment plans, progress, and modifications in the Electronic Medical Records system. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure holistic care, including referrals when necessary, and provide mentorship to team members. Continuously assess outcomes to adjust care plans and engage patients in education to encourage healthier lifestyles. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within a collaborative environment of two other therapists and a PTA.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Centreville, VA, without any board actions or disciplinary measures
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Developing effective therapeutic exercise programs
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
- Ability to use WebPT technology efficiently in daily practice
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Ability to manage diverse patient cases effectively
- A strong background in working with EMR systems to streamline documentation and improve patient scheduling
